Five Oceans Cover

Our comprehensive P&I insurance policy covers the customary P&I risks which includes third-party liabilities arising from incidents such as cargo loss or damage, oil or other pollution, death and injury to crew members, stevedores or passengers, repatriation of sick or injured personnel, extra costs associated with stowaways and refugees, collisions with other vessels or with fixed and floating objects, which could be wharves, quays, docks (fixed and floating), bridges, buoys etc., wreck removal and all strict-liability fines or penalties which might be imposed.

The foregoing ensures that worldwide Port State control regulations which many ports apply can be met by our insured Member shipowners. Coverage maybe extended by agreement to include additional non-standard third-party liabilities to ensure that there are no gaps in coverage and that the shipowner remains fully protected in the case of all third-party claims.

Our policies are designed to provide the broadest cover available with the highest security, ensuring that our Club Members are fully protected in the event of a claim.
